From 1929 until 2015, local area golfers spent countless afternoons at Bald Mountain Golf Course. This public, 27 hole golf facility located in Lake Orion, Michigan included a standard 18-hole course and a 9-hole "executive nine" course.
Built on VERY rolling and hilly terrain, the course had no water hazards, but heavily sloped fairways and a number of doglegs made a round at Bald Mountain difficult for the accuracy-challenged.
Whether learning the game, playing in a league, honing your skills, or just trying to get air off of one of the many hills in your golf cart, Bald Mountain Golf Course never disappointed.
