The Hampton Theatres in Rochester Hills, MI was once a neighborhood staple, providing entertainment to the local community for nearly 30 years. The theatre opened its doors around 1970, and quickly became a popular spot for movie-goers. With its four auditoriums, the Hampton Theatre was the perfect place to catch a matinee or weekend flick.
Unfortunately, the Hampton Theatres closed its doors for good in 1999, much to the dismay of local movie-goers. Although it may be gone, the memory of the Hampton Theatres will live on as a reminder of a simpler time, where you could catch the latest release with your friends or - a little later on - a 30 year old movie for $1.
