The Story Behind the Design
Before home consoles and phones put games everywhere, Flipper McGee’s was part of Rochester’s classic arcade era. Locals remember the glow of game cabinets, the sound of pinball machines and pockets full of quarters disappearing one game at a time. It belonged to a generation of Southeast Michigan arcades that made a trip to the shopping plaza feel like an event. This design is for anyone who remembers chasing high scores, calling “next game” and stretching a few dollars into an afternoon.
