The Story Behind the Design
Jerry’s Gun Shop was a Rochester fixture for half a century. Gerald “Jerry” Haddrill became part of the local business community in 1969 and operated the shop for 50 years before retiring in early 2020. From its W. University Drive location, the store became a familiar name to generations of area sportsmen and hunters. This vintage-inspired design brings back a piece of Rochester’s independent-retail history and the kind of longtime local business that became known simply by the owner’s first name.
