The Story Behind the Design
The Long Branch Saloon in Oxford, MI was a beloved landmark for many in the community for decades. Originally opening in 1980 and operating as an eatery at the same location for over forty years, the restaurant and bar served up classic American food, cold drinks, and had a warm atmosphere that kept people coming back.
The Long Branch Saloon was a favorite spot for locals to gather and socialize, watch their favorite sports teams, and celebrate special occasions. Unfortunately, the beloved restaurant and bar closed (and underwent a name change) in 1997, closing its doors for good in 2017 (after a few more name changes).
Although the Long Branch Saloon is no longer around, it will always be remembered fondly by the people of Oxford, MI.
