From opening night in 1992 until closing its doors for good in 2020, the Neon Cactus was a cornerstone of college life in the West Lafayette Plaza.
For 28 years, students would flock to the Cactus for dancing, efficiently priced drinks in plastic mugs, the piano bar, and a host of other memories that they would ultimately have trouble remembering.
For the better part of three decades, the Neon Cactus owned Thursday nights in the West Lafayette area.
