The Story Behind the Design
At 655 Michelson Road, Rochester Hills Golf & Country Club was a familiar destination for local rounds, leagues and outings through the late 20th century. The 18-hole course at the site opened in 1958 and remained part of Rochester Hills golf life until closing in 2003. For golfers who remember the clubhouse, the first tee or simply seeing the name on a tournament schedule, this design brings back a course that once occupied a very real place in the community’s recreation history.
