The Story Behind the Design
The Family Buggy Restaurant in Rochester Hills, MI was a local fixture for over two decades. The restaurant opened in 1983, and quickly became a destination for families and friends to gather for hearty meals and socializing. The restaurant featured classic meals with a home-cooked feel, a giant bear that sat at your table on your birthday, and a functioning model train that kept kids entertained throughout the meal. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and was a popular spot for special occasions, such as anniversaries, birthdays, and graduations. The Rochester Hills locations closed its doors for good in 2006.
