At the Sign of the Black & White Cow is a highly recognizable landmark in the Stony Creek area. This stone building served as a farm store for the Van Hoosen Dairy Farm from its construction in 1938 until 1952.

The store's name is a reference to the dairy farm's black-and-white cattle. The building is now part of the Stony Creek Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
