The Story Behind the Design
Pete’s Roadhaus was a Lake Orion institution built around good food and a familiar local name. Owner Peter Kalohn, a longtime Lake Orion businessman and restaurateur, became especially known for Pete’s Roadhaus and its house salad dressing—a detail still remembered years later by people who ate there. This design brings back the Roadhaus from the era when independent restaurants became community landmarks, regulars knew exactly what they were ordering, and a favorite local meal could become part of the family routine.
